Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring for a warehouse associate in Auburn, WA. The role focuses on keeping the warehouse clean, filling orders, and safely operating forklifts and equipment.

You will assist with loading and unloading freight and perform other duties as needed to support daily operations. The position requires on-site attendance, reliability, and a willingness to learn handheld RF scanners and warehouse systems.

Shift: 12PM to 9PM

What You Will Do:

• Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling
• Safe forklift/equipment usage
• Commitment to One Item, One Bin and Just Face It! best practices
• Assisting with loading/offloading freight or delivery trucks
• Other warehouse duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Outside yard environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, credit check, and motor vehicle record review, as permitted by law and required for the position.

Salary & Compensation:

• This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
• Pay is $21/hour - $22.93/hour, DOE.
• This position is eligible for a $0.50 per hour shift differential.
