Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform switching, make-up and break-up of trains, and road haul train movements.
• Perform ground tasks including coupling and uncoupling cars and operating switches.
• Maintain accurate records of cars handled, repairs performed, and track conditions encountered.
• Complete accurate switch lists, interchange records, and assigned paperwork.
• Communicate with management, customer service teams, and connecting railroads.

This position is accountable for safe work practices, railroad operating rules, and compliance with applicable Federal Railroad Administration guidelines while supporting switching, train handling, customer service, and interchange operations.
