Independent Pumping Group Inc. is seeking a dependable Class A or Class B CDL Driver / Septic Pump Truck Operator to join our team in Inland Empire, Southern California.

This hands-on role combines driving with septic pumping, equipment maintenance, and professional customer communication. We serve Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties and value safety, reliability, and independent work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and septic pumping equipment.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically demanding outdoor work including handling heavy hoses and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Independent Pumping Group Inc. is seeking a dependable, motivated, and professional Class A or Class B CDL Driver / Septic Pump Truck Operator to join our growing team.

We are an established septic pumping and inspection company proudly serving Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and Los Angeles Counties.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable working independently in the field.

This is a hands-on position, not just a driving job. Our drivers are responsible for operating commercial septic pumping trucks, performing septic pumping services, maintaining equipment, and communicating professionally with customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial septic vacuum trucks.
• Perform residential and commercial septic tank pumping services.
• Properly operate vacuum pumps, hoses, valves, and related pumping equipment.
• Locate and access septic tanks as required for service.
• Safely load, transport, and dispose of wastewater at approved disposal facilities.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain trucks, equipment, hoses, and tools in clean, safe working condition.
• Complete service tickets, disposal documentation, and required paperwork accurately.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and commercial customers.
• Explain completed services and report any visible septic system concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
• Work independently, manage assigned routes, and complete jobs efficiently.
• Represent Independent Pumping Group Inc. professionally at all times.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work, including handling heavy hoses and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to comply with applicable DOT requirements and company safety policies.

Preferred

• Previous septic pumping, vacuum truck, liquid waste, or environmental services experience.
• Experience operating PTO-driven vacuum equipment.
• Knowledge of septic systems and pumping procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic truck maintenance knowledge.Experience working directly with residential and commercial customers.

Septic pumping experience is preferred, but qualified CDL drivers with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
