Job summary

Samoset Resort in Rockport, ME is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team by maintaining the cleanliness of rooms, corridors, and public areas. This role collaborates with Room Attendants to strip beds, replace linens, and manage supplies while upholding high standards of service.

Ideal candidates may have a high school diploma and prior hospitality experience, and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of rooms, hallways, and other areas of the hotel.
• Support Room Attendants with routine tasks by stripping beds, removing and replacing linen, emptying wastebaskets, stocking supplies.
• Transport linen carts with clean laundry from laundry room to storage room on each floor.
• Clean and organize items stored in laundry room, supply/storage closets, linen room, and/or uniform room.
• Identify and report preventative maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
