Worth Ross Management Co. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance of a residential condominium community at Alamo Heights.

The role focuses on keeping common areas and units safe and well‑functioning, with hands-on tasks in a fast-paced, resident‑centered environment. You’ll perform routine maintenance, tackle basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and assist with HVAC tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or property management environments.
• Working knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Willingness to be on‑call or respond to after‑hours emergencies.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, resident‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry‑level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move‑ins and move‑outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
