Location:

US - West Coast Region, US - Midwest Region, US - Pacific Northwest Region, US - Southwest Region, US - Remote

The Conditioning Platform Application Manager is responsible for selling our conditioning products and solutions. You will be an active team member supporting our dedicated industries and will report to the Conditioning Platform Commercial Manager.

You will be home office based, ideally located in the Western half of the U.S. (California, Washington, Arizona, etc), with travel expected to account for 50-60% of your time. Home office time to be primarily spent on qualifying opportunities, blue sheet and sales funnel management and liaising with platform resources. Majority of travel will be supporting Account Managers with customer visits and supporting a number of key spiral OEM’s mainly in the US.

Responsibilities:

Understand the industry commercial drivers for our Conditioning products and solutions in order to identify, qualify and prioritize the best opportunities.

  1. Provide on-time sales training/support to enable industry teams to prequalify conditioning opportunities.
  2. Identify and help develop innovative new applications and products.
  3. Effectively link Intralox technical advantages with commercial messages.
  4. Ownership of the Industry Team’s conditioning strategy and business planning process.
  5. Accountable for sales funnel, opportunity management and sales targets.
  6. Commercial management of horizontal conditioning OEM’s. Work with technical group.
  7. Share product updates and best practices within the assigned Industry team.
Requirements:
  1. Technical college / university degree in industrial, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
  2. Minimum 3 years experience in B2B sales and engineering with preferably knowledge and experience within the food processing, packaging or material handling industries.
  3. B2B front line/field sales skills and experience.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  5. Spanish language spoken and written fluency is highly beneficial.
  6. Good listening and questioning skills to understand needs and requirements.
  7. Confident use of presentation tools and computer skills.
  8. Energetic, open to change and hands-on mentality.
