Job summary

The Geneva Foundation is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Orthopaedic Research team at Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, NY. You will coordinate concussion studies, assist with data collection, processing, and regulatory documentation, and liaise with investigators and researchers.

Ideal candidates have an ATC or similar certification, a bachelor’s degree with preferred master’s, and 1–2 years of research experience.

Qualifications

• Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) or similar desired.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of research experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with concussion baseline testing (SCAT-6, ImPACT, BESS) desired.
• Experience with head impact measurement systems (e.g., X2 Biosystems, Riddell HITs, Linx IAS) desired.
• Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and confidentiality of research participants at all times.
• Plan and coordinate initiation of research study protocol and operating policies and procedures.
• Plan, implement and maintain data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol.
• Recruit, instruct and coordinate research subjects and/or volunteers as appropriate.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of technical staff engaged in research/clinical protocol.
• Organize meetings, conferences, and events related to research activities.
• Interact with Principal Investigator, site personnel, participants, The Geneva Foundation, and funder.
• Maintain regulatory documentation for IACUC/IRB and sponsor communications.
