Job summary

SEG INC is seeking an experienced Concrete Worker to join our field team on active construction sites. You will assist with forming, pouring, finishing, reinforcing, and general site labor while following project specs and safety procedures.

Travel to project sites across VA, MD, DC, and WV is required. The role offers an annual bonus program and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth in a fast-paced engineering and construction environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting basic construction drawings is required.
• Good knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Able to work as part of a coordinated crew and maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete placement, pouring, and finishing operations
• Build, set, and strip concrete forms
• Tie rebar and assist with reinforcement installation
• Set anchor bolts and embedded items as directed
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
• Work closely with crew members and supervisors to meet project schedules
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team
• U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance and compliance purposes
