Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature, and cylinder tests, and verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge. All results are documented the same day.

No experience required for entry level; we train and pay for your certifications, including ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge safety. Travel may be required for Texas operations and other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
