Job summary

Valley Corporation is seeking a skilled individual to operate walk-behind concrete saws (full-depth and Soff-Cut) and to handle hot tar operations across construction sites in Nebraska. The role requires teamwork with other crew members to complete diverse tasks.

Primary duties include sawing after hand-placed and slipform concrete, traveling to job sites, equipment maintenance, and tar sealing of joints. The position may demand overtime, nights, and weekends to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• High school/ GED required with at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Physical work is intense and requires bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, twisting, standing and lifting over 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Overtime including nights and weekends may be required to meet project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to complete sawing activities post hand placed and slipform concrete placement
• Miscellaneous full depth saw cutting
• Travel to jobsite (or multiple jobsites) and perform sawing/taring responsibilities
• Must be able to do light service and maintenance on equipment
• Saw operations include walk behind saws and quickie saws
• Operate the tar truck, hot tar sealing concrete joints
• Physical work is expected to operate saws and assist the crews as necessary
• Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
• Other duties as assigned.
