Job summary

Houck Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time construction worker to repair concrete and apply coatings or decorative coverings to floors. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and operating spreaders and grinders.

The role requires travel in-state and out-of-state and lifting heavy objects while adhering to safety guidelines. Physical demands are high: long hours, ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and work in loud, cramped spaces with potential hazards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Frequent travel in-state and out-of-state; overnight stays may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Chip, grind, and roughen surfaces to remove high spots.
• Prepare area and apply coatings; clean site and tools.
• Operate equipment and mix materials for flooring installations.
• Erect scaffolding and set up ladders; follow safety guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and follow written directions.
