Job summary

You will prep job sites, organize tools, and maintain a safe workspace while loading/unloading materials and operating basic equipment under supervision.

Must be willing to travel 3–4 hours outside Columbus, have reliable transportation, and complete an assessment with a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Ability to handle physically demanding work and lift heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Must be willing to travel 3-4 hour range outside of Columbus.
• Must have transportation.
• All candidates must complete an assessment and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support general construction activities, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Removing delaminated concrete, concrete placement, traffic membrane coatings, sealants, carpentry/forming, waterproofing.
• Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed.
• Help prep job sites by clearing obstacles, organizing tools, and maintaining a safe workspace.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate basic equipment under supervision while following safety guidelines.
• Follow direction from supervisors and communicate effectively with the team.
