Job summary

County Ready Mix in Eagle River, Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards through inspections, tests, and measurements throughout production. The role requires documenting findings, identifying defects, and collaborating with production to resolve issues and maintain consistent quality across concrete operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, some construction materials experience, and strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction/building materials industry experience preferred.
• Concrete plant and/or quality control experience highly desired.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.
• Solid math aptitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a dynamic environment.
• PCI Level I certification or the ability to obtain certifications as directed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production.
• Inspect materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
• Record observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry.
• Regularly observes the production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of product.
• Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance.
• Manage housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
