Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Pennsylvania is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include daily concrete strength testing, inspections, and reporting quality concerns to leadership.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and QC experience, with basic computer skills and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry preferred.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist with strip, setup, and pouring of products as needed.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
