Job summary

Cemstone in Minnesota is seeking a capable concrete pump operator to safely drive and operate pumps (Schwing, Putzmeister or similar) of varying boom lengths and line pumps on projects. You will set up equipment, pump concrete per customer direction, and maintain safety practices.

The role requires a valid CDL, ability to pass the ACPA test within 12 months and recertify every two years, plus strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip inspection of concrete pumps per DOT regulations.
• Operate pumps safely to place concrete as required.
• Set up pump at job site with contractor/homeowner in a safe position.
• Pump concrete at customer-requested pace while maintaining safety.
• Complete daily paperwork and collect monies if necessary.
• Communicate status via radio/pager/phone and call out for next day start time.
• Post-trip inspection and report any vehicle issues per DOT standards.
