Job summary

Hawkins Construction, a leading commercial concrete contractor in the St. Louis region, seeks a motivated individual to estimate, sell, and manage commercial concrete projects.

The role covers project management from planning through execution and requires driving results in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience in commercial concrete and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial concrete
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (Business Management, Finance)

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of commercial concrete construction projects, from estimating and sales to planning through completion.
• Estimating: Read and understand plans and specifications and perform quantity take-offs from plans and/or field visits.
• Client Communication: Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop project timelines, track progress, and manage budgets to ensure efficient execution.
• Team Coordination: Lead project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff, to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery.
• Problem Solving: Address issues as they arise, finding creative solutions to keep projects on track.
