Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Concrete Project Manager to join our Nashville market. You will lead design/build projects from concept through completion, ensuring performance, client satisfaction, and alignment with business goals.

As a PM, you will coordinate with design teams, clients, and subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and drive value engineering ideas while maintaining operational excellence and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Concrete Management or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of construction management on concrete projects in the industrial or commercial sectors.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout.
• Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget.
• Participate in the proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors.
• Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule.
• Work with Project Superintendents to develop and review scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues.
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
• Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports.
