Job summary

The Ravin Group is seeking an experienced Concrete Project Lead / Superintendent in Indianapolis, IN to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate field operations, resources, schedules, safety, quality, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading commercial, civil, concrete, or industrial construction projects.
  • Previous superintendent or construction leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, production, safety, quality, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem solving skills.
  • Experience managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and project resources.
  • Comfortable working in an active field environment and communicating with customers.
  • Less than 10 years of construction leadership experience preferred.
  • Concrete experience is highly desirable; strong civil construction experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and site logistics.
  • Coordinate project activities with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide direction to Field Leads and crews to ensure daily work supports overall project goals.
  • Monitor safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and project costs.
  • Review job cost information and adjust manpower, materials, and work plans as needed.
  • Establish production goals and monitor progress against schedule and budget.
  • Identify project risks, resolve field issues, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, manpower, and other project resources.
  • Review construction plans and ensure work is performed according to contract requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding progress, needs, and project issues.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and address safety or quality concerns.
  • Coordinate punch-list completion and final project requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress updates.
  • Coach and develop Field Leads and other construction personnel.
