Job summary

Rinker Materials is seeking a Production Worker for our El Mirage, AZ plant. You will join our team as a general laborer, contributing to the production of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridges and related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

Responsibilities include mixing and pouring concrete, operating conveyors and mixers, cleaning and maintaining gear, loading materials, and ensuring safety and quality in every step of the production process.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred - Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; for over 50 pounds, forklift or crane used. Must be able to push/pull 80 pounds; climb stairs/ladders; step up 20 inches.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management.
