Our precast company is a leading producer of architectural and structural wall panels, and the nation's largest producer of precast concrete parking structures. We have supplied structure and enclosure systems, components, and accessories for a wide range of projects including corporate, cultural, government, educational, institutional, multi-unit residential buildings, sports stadiums and arenas, retail, industrial, correctional facilities, and warehouse structures.

We are seeking a Precast Concrete Production Lead to oversee daily planning, direction, training, implementation, and general supervision of their assigned area. As the Production Lead, you will be responsible for meeting production schedules within budget, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. The role also requires the ability to perform all functions of positions within the department: Journeyman and Production Worker.

This is a 1st shift position.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in concrete and/or construction, preferred
  • At least 3 years in the precast/pre-stress industry, preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Leadership skills to manage and guide a team while adhering to company policies
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks daily

Key responsibilities include:

  • Training and developing coworkers
  • Planning and coordinating tasks to maximize production efficiency
  • Directing a crew to achieve quality and production goals
  • Problem-solving and taking immediate action on safety, quality, and productivity issues
  • Collaborating with all organizational levels to meet company objectives
  • Achieving production metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and materials
