Upgrade Resources is seeking a Concrete Project Manager 1 for an on-site Dallas, TX role. You will lead project operations, manage safety, budgets, and schedules, and build strong client and subcontractor relationships on commercial projects.

Candidates should have 5+ years in construction management with self-perform concrete experience and a relevant degree or equivalent. This full-time position offers a defined path to Project Manager 2 and relocation support where needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Self-perform concrete experience with a general contractor on commercial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in project management, accounting, and scheduling software.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods from preconstruction through closeout.
• Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability, and build client relationships.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours.
• Lean construction experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead project safety culture and ensure an injury-free jobsite.
• Oversee preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, scope development, and schedule development.
• Lead buyout, subcontractor selection, and pricing verification.
• Set up and manage submittal schedule and review shop drawings.
• Coordinate subcontractors, owner, field team, design team, and vendors.
• Work with risk management on subcontractor approvals and bonding.
• Manage change requests from subcontractor pricing through approvals.
• Lead monthly project reviews, progress and OAC meetings.
• Prepare monthly cost and margin forecasts and compare to budget.
• Lead project closeout including punch list, warranties, and final payments.
