Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking applicants to join our team in a concrete pipe repair role. You will inspect pipes for defects, perform repairs before and after curing, and apply patching materials to ensure high-quality results.

You will dress and finish pipe surfaces, maintain safety standards, and support other production duties as needed. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with overtime availability some weekends most weeks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete repair, finishing, and patching techniques
• Ability to identify defects and determine appropriate repairs
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Availability for overtime, including weekends, as needed

Responsibilities

• Inspect concrete pipe for cracks, chips, and other surface defects
• Perform repairs before curing, after curing, and prior to shipment
• Mix and apply patching materials to produce structurally sound, high-quality repairs
• Dress and finish pipe surfaces by removing excess concrete and correcting imperfections
• Maintain quality standards while repairing a high volume of products
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Assist with other production duties as needed
