Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a production-oriented technician to help inspect and repair concrete pipe. You will perform surface finishing, patching, and quality checks across a high-volume workflow, while following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.

This role supports ongoing manufacturing operations and may involve overtime as needed. The position offers hands-on learning in the steel and construction reinforcement industries with opportunities for career growth within CMC.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete repair, finishing and patching techniques.
• Ability to identify defects and determine appropriate repairs.
• Must be able to perform physical work (lift up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect concrete pipe for cracks, chips, and surface defects.
• Perform repairs before curing, after curing, and prior to shipment.
• Mix and apply patching materials to produce structurally sound repairs.
• Dress and finish pipe surfaces by removing excess concrete and correcting imperfections.
• Maintain quality standards while repairing a high volume of products.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
