Job summary

Knight’s Companies Inc. is hiring a Mixer Truck Driver to operate ready-mix trucks, deliver concrete to job sites, and uphold safety and customer service standards. The role requires a valid CDL (A or B), a REAL ID, and at least one year of CDL driving experience.

Compensation ranges from $24 to $32 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth across our locations. Legal age requirements vary by state (SC 18+, GA 21+).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required.
• Must be at least: 18 for SC operations, 21 for GA operations.
• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience required.
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five years.
• No more than three moving violations within the past three years.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color, etc.).
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards.
