Job summary

United Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL driver to operate a heavy diesel mixer truck and deliver concrete to construction sites. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining drum rotation, adjusting slump, and performing routine inspections.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of CDL driving experience, with preference for candidates in the building materials/construction industry. DOT regulatory compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills are required.
• Ability to read mixer truck gauges and follow supervisor guidance.
• Experience with CDL driving and construction materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy diesel mixer truck to keep concrete in liquid state during transport.
• Feed concrete at job sites using gravity-fed chute and adjust slump as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain truck and mixer; complete delivery paperwork.
