Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking Concrete Laborers/Finishers to support concrete repair, placement, finishing, and related tasks in the Greater Chicago area. The role involves working on diverse projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timely execution.

Hourly positions range from $20 to $28 per hour, with pre-employment drug testing and background checks. Candidates should be reliable, with available transportation and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of construction experience; concrete experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel outside the Chicago area as project needs dictate.
• Must be a reliable and motivated team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication and computer skills; ability to complete online training.

Responsibilities

• Concrete repair, placement and finishing, rebar replacement, caulking, coating application.
• Perform work in the Greater Chicago area; travel as needed to project sites.

STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with roughly 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets. STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.STRUCTURAL, is looking for Concrete Laborers and/or Finishers to join our team to perform work in the Greater Chicago areaConstruction duties may include:

• Concrete repair


• Concrete placement and finishing


• Rebar replacement


• Caulking


• Coating application

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of construction industry experience; concrete experience is a plus.


• Industrial plant experience is preferred; however, comprehensive training will be provided to motivated candidates.


• Valid TWIC card is preferred.


• Valid driver's license required.


• Reliable transportation required. Must be willing to commute daily to local sites.


• Willingness to travel outside the Chicago area as project needs dictate.


• Must be a reliable and motivated team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication and computer skills required, including the ability to complete online training.
