Job summary

CMC is seeking a production team member to support concrete pipe manufacturing from setup through shipment. You will set up molds, place reinforcing materials, and help operate equipment while assisting with curing and finishing.

The role requires physical work, reliability, and teamwork. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with overtime and weekend availability. CMC offers opportunities for growth within the steel construction industry.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending) for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to work well on a team to meet production goals.
• Basic math and reading skills (measurements, simple drawings).
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production of concrete pipe from setup through shipment.
• Set up and prepare pipe molds (clean, assemble, apply release agents).
• Place reinforcing materials (steel cages, wire) per specifications.
• Assist with concrete pouring using mixers, buckets, or automated equipment.
• Support curing process and strip finished pipe from molds.
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, sealing joints).
• Operate or assist with vibration/compaction equipment.
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
