Covenant Concrete Construction LLC in Portland, TN is seeking a Concrete Laborer to support skilled crews in pouring, finishing, and cleaning up after concrete work. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and a chance to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete work is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Physical stamina for labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of concrete forms and molds before pouring.
• Mix concrete materials and assist in pouring concrete into designated forms.
• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
• Operate power tools such as concrete saws, jackhammers, and vibrators under the guidance of experienced workers.
• Assist in the installation of rebar and other structural materials.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work area on a regular basis.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying heavy materials.
