Qualifications

• Must possess a TWIC card.
• Previous Industrial Plant experience preferred.
• Current Basic and Basic Plus Safety Council Training preferred.
• Turnaround/Shutdown experience preferred.
• Willingness to wear a respirator and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Concrete demolition, repair, placement, and finishing.
• Formwork and carpentry work as part of concrete projects.
• Rebar replacement and expansion joint work.
• Apply coatings and perform carbon fiber installation when required.
• Operate in multiple locations; willingness to travel outside Baton Rouge.

STRUCTURAL is looking for Concrete Laborer and Finishers to join our team to perform work in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Construction duties include:

• Concrete demolition and repair
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Formwork / carpentry
• Rebar replacement
• Fireproofing Installation
• Caulking
• Expansion Joints
• Coating Application
• Carbon Fiber installation
• Structural Steel Welding Equipment
• Grouting

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

• Possess a TWIC card
• Previous Industrial Plant experience
• Current Basic and Basic Plus Safety Council Training preferred
• Turnaround/Shutdown Experience preferred
• Must being willing to wear a respirator
• Able to pass written or computerized industrial plant entrance tests
• Must be willing to travel to jobs outside of the Baton Rouge area
• Experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor (GC), or specialty contractor
