Job summary

Crossland Construction Company Inc in Wichita, KS is seeking a reliable helper to assist carpenters and finishers with concrete construction activities. You will help prepare jobsites prior to concrete placement and move forming materials, lumber, reinforcing steel, and tools to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include setting and stripping concrete forms, placing and tying reinforcing steel, assisting pours, performing demolition and cleanup, installing curing materials, and keeping

• Willingness to learn concrete construction methods and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work overtime when project schedules require it.

• Assist during concrete pours with chute handling, raking, shoveling, vibrating, and placement.
• Perform concrete demolition and cleanup when necessary.
• Install curing materials and perform concrete protection activities.
• Clean tools, forms, equipment, and work areas.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, saws, and other equipment after proper training.
• Load and unload construction materials.
• Follow instructions provided by foremen and supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Perform other construction duties as assigned.
