Job summary

Miles McClellan Construction Co Inc is hiring a Concrete Laborer to assist with forming, pouring, and finishing concrete on commercial projects in a team setting.

You will help load and move materials, support formwork, and maintain safe, clean job sites while following all safety policies and procedures. Company-sponsored training and benefits are provided to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Previous concrete construction experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing jobsite priorities.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to safely use basic construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying materials weighing 50-100 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working in varying jobsite and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, forming, and pouring of concrete foundations, walls, slabs, and paving.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation and concrete placement.
• Cut pre-marked materials and fixtures as directed.
• Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup activities.
• Maintain material inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with forming operations, including erecting and working from ladders and scaffolding.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and applicable regulations.
