Duties

• Dig, shovel, and rake materials
• Load and unload trucks, haul and hoist materials, transport rakes, picks, shovels, and spray cans to the job site
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including jackhammers, shovels, brooms, and saws
• Measure, line out, and stake the work area. Set forms and tie rebar.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, and trowels
• Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices
• Maintain a clean job site - pick up all tools and equipment each day

Required

• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to stand, crouch, and walk for long periods of time (8+ hours)
• Have use of both hands to operate construction tools, lift, hoist, carry, grasp, and finger
• Able to climb in and out of pickup trucks, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Available to work days and nights, including overtime
