Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is hiring Concrete Laborers to design and build forms, pour concrete, and finish surfaces with trowels or stains. This is outdoor site work requiring physical effort and strict safety practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Designing and building forms for concrete pours.

• Pouring concrete and spreading/smoothing with trowels.
• Applying stains or colors for finishes and decorative elements.
• Adding decorative stones and components as directed.
• Applying waterproofing and sealants to finished work.
• Monitoring curing and ensuring a durable finish.
• Extreme weather site work and teamwork on outdoor sites.
• Assist with excavation, grading, and material handling.
• Operate power tools safely and maintain equipment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking Concrete Laborers to be responsible for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, then spreading and smoothing it using trowels or other tools.

You may also be required to apply stains to finish the concrete, adding small stones for decoration, and concluding the process by applying waterproofing and

sealants.

Key Responsibilities:

Concrete Finishing:

• Designing and building forms.


• Setting up forms.


• Pouring concrete.


• Using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete.


• Spreading and smoothing concrete.


• Molding expansion joints and edges.


• Using stains or colors to add the finishing touch.


• Adding small stones or other materials for decoration.


• Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work.


• Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.

General Construction Duties:

• Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris and setting up materials.


• Help with excavation, grading, and backfilling as needed.


• Operate power tools and equipment safely.


• Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks as directed.


• Load and unload materials and equipment.


• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor construction sites in various weather conditions.


• Physically demanding role requiring lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
