Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking a reliable Concrete Laborer for a long-term, year-round position in Augusta, Maine. Pay ranges from $23 to $26 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities for continued steady work and benefits.

You will assist in formwork, mixing and pouring concrete, finishing surfaces, and ensuring a safe, clean job site under supervision from the foreman.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete or general construction preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to job-site safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms and molds.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
• Level and smooth concrete using screeds, trowels, floats, and other tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure concrete surfaces.
• Remove forms after concrete has set and clean work areas.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
• Follow all OSHA and job-site safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or supervisor.
