Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is offering an internship for undergraduates in Construction Management in Georgia. You will apply classroom knowledge in the field, supporting project work and plant operations alongside engineers and production staff.

You will learn the mission of production, maintenance, and quality departments, while ensuring safety and compliant operations. Strong communication, adaptability, and multitasking will be essential as you gain hands-on experience and

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Put your education into action in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.
• Support the plant operations in achieving production goals while partnering with experienced engineers, managers, and production employees in different departments.
• Complete technical projects to gain an understanding of the operations.
• Learn the mission of the production, maintenance, and quality departments and different job and functions.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

• Current juniors and seniors working toward a degree in Construction Management, or a related field.

Work Environment:

• Combination of office and field work.
• Exposure to various weather conditions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform manual labor tasks as needed.
