Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a hands-on Operations Associate to learn and apply concrete production processes, quality control and safety standards at our Georgia sites.

You will collaborate with plant and field teams, assist in inventory and scheduling, support customer service activities and participate in cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and sustainability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Work Environment

This role involves both office and field work, including time spent at concrete plants and construction sites. Candidates should be comfortable working in outdoor environments and around heavy equipment.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around construction sites and production facilities for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Tolerance for working in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Occasional climbing, bending, and kneeling may be required.
