Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
• Skilled in accurate measurement and layout for formwork components.
• Experience using hand and power tools for carpentry work.
• Committed to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Formwork Construction: craft and assemble formwork per specs using wood/metal materials.
• Layout and Measurement: measure, mark, and lay out layout lines for proper formwork.
• Material Selection and Preparation: choose plywood, lumber, steel; cut/shape as needed.
• Carpentry Skills: ensure formwork integrity, tight joints, proper connections.
• Concrete Pouring Assistance: coordinate with crew to place and compact concrete.
• Form Stripping and Removal: safely disassemble formwork after curing.
• Quality Control: inspect formwork for defects and alignment, adjust as needed.
• Safety Adherence: follow safety guidelines and keep area hazard-free.
• Collaboration: work with form setters, finishers, and project managers.
• Tool Maintenance: keep tools clean and report malfunctions.
• Documentation: record materials used and issues encountered.
