Job summary

Strobel-Energy-Group-LLC is seeking a Concrete Form Setter to install concrete formwork foundations in early project stages. You will set up basic forms for structures such as framing, scaffolding, or molds to lay concrete.

The role requires experience with concrete form setting, proficiency with hand and power tools, and physical ability to perform heavy manual labor in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with concrete form setting or construction required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and align form systems.
• Construct scaffolding and platforms.
• Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Finish concrete using hand and power tools.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations.
• Check forms for proper construction.
• Set forms to desired pitch, depth and alignment.
• Spread, level and smooth concrete using tools.
• Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointer and straight edge.
• Monitor weather elements for curing impact.
• Produce rough concrete surface using broom.
• Operate power vibrator to consolidate concrete.
• Apply surface treatments.
• Follow instructions and work as a team.
• Use hand and/or power tools.
• Use saw to cut expansion joints.
• Read and understand blueprints and elevations.
