Qualifications

Must read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards and use trade tools.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, lay-out and perform carpentry work per plans, specs and industry standards.
Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and supervision.
Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
Produce high quality work safely and productively at all times.
Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools and information are available for the work.
Look for improvement opportunities and be willing to learn and teach others.
High proficiency in all related trade mathematics.
Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and specs; take corrective action as needed.
Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
