B is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to support form building, placement, and finishing of concrete structures. The role involves reading drawings, erecting and aligning forms, and assisting with concrete placement on site.

Ideal candidates will have construction experience, strong communication, and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship on projects in Montgomery, AL.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilités

• Read and understand drawings and prints to guide work.
• Build/assemble forms for concrete floors, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; aid in reinforcing steel placement.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, mainly symon forms.
• Verify accuracy using plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Communicate with Foreman/Project Manager about issues and safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
