Concrete Foreman

My client is seeking a hands-on Concrete Foreman to oversee daily construction activities and lead a small field crew. This position is responsible for coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and production while working closely with project leadership.
This is a great opportunity for a construction professional with 2–5 years of experience who has demonstrated the ability to lead a crew of approximately 4–6 employees.
Concrete Foreman Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily work activities for an assigned construction scope.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed for upcoming work.
- Assign tasks and communicate daily expectations to crew members.
- Monitor production, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate activities with other trades and project personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower records, and production information.
- Identify and address jobsite hazards and reinforce safety procedures.
- Participate in hands‑on construction activities when needed.
- Coach and develop less‑experienced team members.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and resource needs to project leadership.
Concrete Foreman Qualifications
- 2–5 years of construction experience preferred.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small construction crew.
- Foreman, Crew Lead, Lead Carpenter, or similar experience preferred.
- Concrete experience is a strong plus; civil construction experience will also be considered.
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand basic construction practices.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced construction environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
