Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks related to layout, excavation, reinforcing steel installation, welding, concrete finishing and form work
  • Must have 3 years’ experience running concrete crew
  • Instruct and train others working under you to learn all aspects of the job
  • Operate skid steer, excavator and dump trucks
  • Assemble Symon brand form panels
  • Fabricate and install hand crafted steel and/or wood forms
  • Weld and install embedded steel items in concrete
  • Perform layout, operate levels, transit and laser layout equipment
  • Place and finish concrete walls & slabs
  • Perform daily job-site cleanup
  • Responsible for safety in all aspects of their work
  • Responsible for ordering equipment and materials when needed in a timely manner
  • Stage and setup equipment and materials needed on the job
  • Travel to job sites with work crew
  • Interface with customers, project managers and department coordinators
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times

Job Requirements:

  • Bending, kneeling, reaching, squatting frequently
  • Lift, carry, and maneuver 1-100 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license, CDL-A preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
  • Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
  • Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
  • Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
  • Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
