This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, OSHA awareness, and ability to travel up to 90% for local and regional assignments. A proactive mentor and link between site execution and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven concrete field operations experience with skid steer, power trowel, and walk-behind saws.
• Ability to lead site crews, plan workflows, and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of concrete mixes, finishing methods, and safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% for local/regional assignments.
• Comfortable using company-provided tech and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and mentor crews of laborers, form setters, finishers, and equipment operators.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce OSHA standards.
• Manage daily field activities to hit milestones while controlling overtime.
• Calculate material quantities and verify pre- and post-pour checklists.
• Coordinate manpower/equipment with superintendents to keep operations running.
• Complete daily reports documenting progress, weather, delays, and subcontractor activity.

Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will lead daily field operations, supervising skilled concrete crews to drive top-tier construction projects across Phoenix. This hands-on leadership role lets you recruit, mentor, and train form setters, finishers, and operators while running safe and efficient job sites. You will serve as a vital link between site execution and project leadership for a team that values quality, safety, and teamwork.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Lead, recruit, train, and mentor crews of laborers, form setters, finishers, and equipment operators.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure active compliance with OSHA standards and Job Hazard Analysis requirements.
• Manage daily field activities to minimize unnecessary overtime while maintaining project milestones and quality standards.
• Calculate accurate material quantities and verify all pre-pour and post-pour site checklists.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment needs directly with superintendents to keep operations running smoothly.
• Complete detailed daily job reports tracking work progress, site weather, delays, and subcontractor activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in concrete field operations with the ability to operate small equipment such as skid steers, power trowels, and walk-behind saws.
• Demonstrated ability to manage site crews, plan daily workflows, and execute tasks with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixes, finishing methods, and job site safety protocols.
• Ability to travel up to 90% for local and regional field assignments as required by business operations.
• Comfortable using, or willing to learn, basic workplace technology and software applications on company-provided technology.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active certifications including OSHA 10-Hour, ACI Finisher, Forklift Operator, or Skid Steer Operator.
• Demonstrated track record of managing daily timecard entries, field receipts, and operational documentation.
