Job Summary

The Foreman will guide, assign, schedule and supervise the work of staff to ensure production goals.

Responsibilities

• Follows Mission, Vision, Values
• Oversees crew members to ensure quality of work is performed in a timely manner
• Determines project requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given project specifications
• Resolves problems to achieve production goals
• Conducts audits and quality assurance tests
• Sets forms
• Works with HR and leadership to implement disciplinary steps
• Operates equipment and tools including but not limited to skid steers, telehandlers, saws, impacts, and drills
• Identifies and recommends solutions
• Leads morning huddles
• Conducts continuous improvement and team development
• Sets safety example by following safety guidelines and ensuring all crew members follow safety standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned or needed, including all laborer duties

Education and Experience

• 6+ years construction experience
• Task Lead experience
• Valid driver’s license or State ID
• Equipment certifications for skid steers or forklifts (training provided if necessary)
• CPR and First Aid (training provided if necessary)
• 10-hour OSHA certification
• 30-hour OSHA certification

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to traverse different types of worksites and bend, climb, stretch, and reach
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull 50-pound loads at a time
• Must be able to work in a variety of environments including concrete, dirt, fumes, and loud noise levels
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs
• Must be able to work long hours and Saturdays when needed
• Must be able to work at various heights
