Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews across diverse concrete projects in the Iowa region. The role focuses on delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

You will manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate resources, and ensure schedules are met. A strong emphasis on leadership, communication, and adherence to OSHA standards is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of concrete construction experience with foreman or lead responsibilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, forming, reinforcing, finishing, and related processes.
• Experience coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and daily work activities.
• Commitment to safety with OSHA awareness and pre-employment drug screening.

Job Details

• 3+ years of experience in concrete construction, with previous foreman or lead experience preferred.
• Experience leading and directing concrete crews of 5+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, forming, reinforcing, finishing, and related construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Ability to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and daily work activities.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, and/or agricultural concrete projects.
• Ability to maintain project schedules while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to document labor, equipment hours, materials, and daily production.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a field crew.
• Reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, total stations, or similar construction technology is a plus.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
