Job summary

Vector Construction, part of the Structural Group, seeks an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews nationwide. This role requires traveling across the US to supervise concrete and masonry restoration crews, ensuring work aligns with plans, specs, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in general construction, with leadership experience, and the ability to read construction drawings.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in general construction, with at least 2 years in lead roles.
• Ability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight.
• Willingness to travel 90–100% across the US.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• On-site supervision of field crews and labor estimation.
• Developing crew schedules and ensuring work meets plans and specs.
• Completing daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets, and memos.
• Ensuring safe, productive use of tools and equipment.
• Assisting Project Managers in evaluating production rates.

We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our dynamic team, preforming work across the US with our dedicated traveling teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• On-site supervision of field crews while accurately estimating labor requirements
• Developing crew schedules and ensuring work has been completed according to plans and specifications
• Completing daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets and speed memos for customers and internal management
• Ensuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner
• Assisting Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position based in our large Operations division:

• 5-10 years of experience in general construction with at least 2 of those years in a Leadman, concrete & masonry restoration is a plus
• Proven ability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight
• Must be able to travel 90-100% across the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and have an active drivers license.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute to construction drawings and contract specifications
• Established commitment to safety
• Proven experience to produce look-ahead schedules and work with other construction documents as required by the project
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew and project teams
• Basic computer skills and construction math skill
• Candidates who are bi-lingual in Spanish / English may be given preference.
