Job summary

Tricon in Waco, TX is seeking Concrete Finishers for a fulltime on-site role. You will smooth, level, and texture concrete, using hand and power tools, and ensure surfaces meet specifications.

The job offers hourly pay of $24.00 to $28.00 DOE, with benefits starting after 60 days, including health coverage and a 401K.

Applicants should be able to read blueprints, perform heavy lifting, and work well with a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in finish carpentry or related trades is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Capable of heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.
• Good problem-solving skills for on-site issues.

Responsibilities

• Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling and texturing.
• Use hand and power tools to perform finishing tasks.
• Pour and spread concrete to required depths and levels.
• Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect surfaces.
• Repair and restore damaged concrete surfaces.
• Collaborate with team to ensure project progress.

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Performing concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces.
• Using hand tools and power tools to complete concrete finishing tasks.
• Pouring and spread concrete to specified depths and levels.
• Applying curing and sealing compounds to protect finished surfaces.
• Repairing and restore damaged concrete surfaces.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Skills Set Required

• Experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, tile laying, masonry, or flooring installation is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the concrete finishing process.

Hourly Rate

$24.00-$28.00 DOE.

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
