Job summary

Tricon-Industrial Construction in Waco, Texas is hiring Concrete Finishers for a full-time, on-site role. You will finish concrete by smoothing, leveling, texturing, and sealing surfaces using hand and power tools to ready them for curing.

Safety comes first and teamwork drives project progress. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, lift heavy objects, and deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete finishing and smoothing.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications.
• Lift heavy loads and operate heavy equipment on site.
• Detail-oriented with high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills for on-site issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete concrete finishing tasks.
• Pour and spread concrete to specified depths and levels.
• Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect finished surfaces.
• Repair and restore damaged concrete surfaces.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces.
• Using hand tools and power tools to complete concrete finishing tasks.
• Pouring and spread concrete to specified depths and levels.
• Applying curing and sealing compounds to protect finished surfaces.
• Repairing and restore damaged concrete surfaces.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Skills Set Required:

• Experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, tile laying, masonry, or flooring installation is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the concrete finishing process.

Hourly Rate:

$24.00-$28.00 DOE.
