Job summary

Orion seeks a skilled concrete finisher to smooth and finish poured surfaces, align forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, and patch voids as needed. You will work with cement-mixing machines and power trowels, ensuring precise levels and textures according to project specs.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with the field team to deliver high-quality concrete work on site.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience finishing concrete structures preferred.
• Must be able to work in variable weather and site conditions.
• Ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Signal concrete truck driver to position vehicle for pouring.
• Move discharge chute and direct concrete into forms.
• Spread concrete into forms with rake or shovel and level to depth.
• Finish surfaces using trowels or floats; smooth and shape concrete.
• Patch voids, repair rough spots, and mold expansion joints.
• Maintain and operate concrete equipment and tools.
