Job summary

ZTEX Construction is hiring Cement Masons and Concrete Finishers to join a local team in El Paso, TX. The company emphasizes no travel, home every day, and plenty of hours with competitive wages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with concrete in construction.
• Knowledge of PPE and all safety regulations
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power equipment.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints.
• Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
• Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the process.
• Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them.
